Saw in the HKU Common Core website under global issues that the course codes and titles of two courses were mixed up. Clicked the tab CCGL9022 The Political Economy of Growth and Poverty in the World, we saw CCGL9022 Globalization in Question: Human and Economic Consequences. Clicked the tab CCGL9025 Globalization in Question: Human and Economic Consequences, we saw CCGL9025 The Political Economy of Growth and Poverty in the World. I thus immediately wrote a quick message to a colleague responsible for one of the courses to verify the inconsistency and then emailed to alert the Common Core Office. (Yes. Common Core Office were quick to correct it upon the receipt of my email.)
I would assume that many students have come across this page and have noticed the inconsistency during the course registration period. Nevertheless, nobody seemed to care to write a quick email to inform the Common Core Office. Why?
That reminds me of a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
